March 25th

We will be beginning our eight-month celebration of our 50th Anniversary on Sunday, March 25th by having a combined service at 9:30 a.m. at the Parish Center using the 1928 Prayer Book - everyone is invited to bring their 1928 Prayer Books. Father Jerry Drino will be celebrating at this service. Women are invited to wear dresses, hats and gloves, men are invited to come dressed in suits.

March 26th

We invite you to "walk back in time" to the beginnings of St. Philip's and to celebrate the birth and subsequent life we have been privileged to be a part of on the East Side of San Jose.

We have reserved a dining area at the Montgomery Hotel where the first members of St. Philip's had been invited to have a meal to see where the Will of God and the Birth of St. Philip's would take place. We are inviting the remaining "first members" to this meal and asking them to share what the beginning experiences were like.

July 1st

To observe July 4th, we will have a Barbecue at the Parish Center on Sunday, July 1st preceded by the special celebration of the "1662 Common Book of Prayer" service at the 10:30 service. Everyone is invited.

October 13th & 14th

Saturday, October 13th we are planning a grand social event and on Sunday, October 14th we will conclude our eighth-month celebration with a one-service honoring our Patron Saint and our new Bishop elect will be in attendance.
