All of us have experienced falling in Love; we could even say that we are in love. It is curious to note this process, or maybe for some it just happened. However this came to be, there is one reality that it is true for every one, it happened and it is hard to explain. We can try to explain and describe it but the more we try, the more we realize that the description comes short from what we feel, see or experience. It is in the living this love that we get to see the significance and the importance of this great thing we call love. It is in this same way that we can describe Easter; it is in the living in an Easter mindset that we understand more what Easter is about. We have experienced Holy Week and in this experience we have come to understand aspects of God's love that bring us to an Easter celebration that is not just about a day in the Christian calendar but truly of daily Christian life. Just as in the reality of trying to explain love and what it means to us that the reality of explaining Easter set in, we can try to explain it but in the end it is in the living that we will be more effective in letting others understand the significance of the greatest love known, the love of God. Let us live Easter. Happy Easter!!! Silito Take a look at some of the previous messages from the Rector |
