Admission Process

The first step is to visit our campus and experience our vibrant community in person. You can do this by registering for one of our Open Houses, small-group Campus Tours, or by calling the Admission Office to schedule a private visit.

Ravenna manages our inquiries and applications for admission. You can log in, create a family profile, and choose St. Philip’s Episcopal School as the school you are exploring. Application along with the admission fee ($150 per child), is due by January 12, 2024.

Instructions on how to upload and share all admission related forms such as teacher recommendations, academic records, and transcripts are available in the Ravenna Hub application.  The following supporting materials are required unless otherwise noted.

• Copy of Birth Certificate and Family Photo

• Teacher Recommendation Form from current teacher (PreK3 - 5th grade applicants). If an applicant for Early Childhood is currently in a preschool program, a teacher recommendation from a current teacher is required. 

• Release of Records Form (1st - 5th grade applicants). Please complete the form and submit it to your child’s current school.

We enjoy having a conversation with parents so that we can get to know both your family and your child better. This conversation usually lasts around 30 minutes. Once you have applied, we will contact you to schedule your parent interview.

St. Philip’s seeks to enroll children who will benefit from its values, mission, and programs. The format of the evaluation varies by applicant's age and grade level and is designed to be developmentally appropriate so we can get to know your child. Regardless of the type of assessment, the goal of the Admission Committee remains the same: to identify those applicants who are most likely to thrive in our learning environment. Assessment instructions will be provided once your child's application is submitted.
